where creditors will make a compromise by reducing and sometimes eliminating the
interest that you are currently being charged. The compromise the creditors
will ask for in return is that you don't charge on any credit cards while the
program is active, and be diligent with a payment schedule. This means that
more of the money you pay toward your debt through our program is going toward
reducing your principal rather than going to the finance charges. In most
cases, creditors will also lower the required monthly minimum payment needed.
This is a dramatic help to those having trouble meeting their present required
monthly payments.
Once you are set up on the program, you will have one single payment a month
that will satisfy all the creditors that you included in the program. In most
cases you can choose the date that you want your payment to be every month. You
then make one monthly payment to the program, and your payment is disbursed
appropriately to your creditors.
Your creditors will still send your monthly statements so that you can see your
adjusted interest rates and follow your reducing balances. We also send a
disbursement statement to verify payments are received and forwarded.
